Angry Squirrel Studio debuts new version of The Dog Table

Got dog? The Dog Table of the EleMUTTs 2.0 features 170-plus dog breeds in the format of the Periodic Table of the Elements

Angry Squirrel Studio today announced the launch of The Dog Table of the EleMUTTs 2.0, designed and illustrated by artist Jen Griggs Sebastian, chief creative nut at Angry Squirrel Studio. The Dog Table of the EleMUTTs features illustrations of the 170-plus American Kennel Club dog breeds. From the Labrador Retriever to the Xoloitzcuintli and the Yorkshire Terrier to the Dogue de Bordeaux, The Dog Table includes the most popular as well as the most unique breeds.

The dogs are organized in a similar layout and structure to the Periodic Table of the Elements. But instead of elements, we have eleMUTTs, and they are organized by breed groups and DOGmic numbers instead of the elected properties of their atomic structures and atomic numbers.

The newest version of The Dog Table of the EleMUTTs includes a new format where the dog breeds are organized by breed groups (Herding, Hound, Non-Sporting, Sporting, Terrier, Toy and Working), as well as an expanded number of dog breeds to include all of the 170-plus dog breed recognized by the American Kennel Club. Each breed group is identified by a bright, bold color.

“I wanted to create a fun way to display all of our favorite dog breeds, and the Periodic Table format seemed like the best way,” Sebastian says. “The Dog Table is not only a fun, bright poster, but it’s also a great educational tool. It’s eleMUTTary my dear WOOFson to find your favorite dog breed.”

Sebastian also broke out each of the breed groups into individual posters, including Herding, Hound, Non-Sporting, Sporting, Terrier, Toy and Working. The Dog Table is available to license as the full poster, by each individual breed group as well as by each individual dog breed. With The Dog Table including more than 170 dog breeds, there is something for any manufacturer looking to appeal to their dog-loving customers.
